Shiv Sena (UBT) Calls BJP a ‘Trump Agent’, Cites Voter Deletion Scandals

In a bold editorial, Shiv Sena (UBT) labeled the Bharatiya Janata Party as an “agent of Donald Trump” after the former U.S. president praised India’s election model. The party argued that the BJP is using the praise to legitimize its own alleged manipulation of voter lists.

The editorial cited the removal of 2 crore names from Maharashtra’s electoral roll as evidence of a systematic purge. It also referenced the removal of thousands of living voters in West Bengal and Bihar, describing the practice as a “character certificate” given by one criminal to another.
