Minister Shelar announces joint‑house committee for administrative transparency

General Administration Minister Ashish Shelar responded to the assembly debate by recalling the 2005 law that introduced transparency in the transfer of state employees. He noted periodic revisions to the act and the introduction of a confidential performance‑evaluation report system for civil servants.

Shelar affirmed that the state has begun leveraging AI to improve work efficiency, transparency, and speed. To further these objectives, he announced that a committee made up of legislators from both the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council will be constituted. The committee will conduct a comprehensive study of the transfer and file‑clearance processes and forward its recommendations to the government for implementation.
