Shekhpura Administration Sets Fast‑Track Targets for UDID, Health and Infrastructure Projects

The weekly review held on July 13 in Shekhpura’s Samaharnalay Manthan Sabhaagar saw District Magistrate Shekhar Anand issue a series of time‑bound directives aimed at accelerating pending work across the district. UDID cards for disabled persons were placed under a two‑week completion target, with civil surgeons tasked to issue the cards promptly.

Health department officials received a push to intensify the TB‑eradication drive, while the district’s grain‑godown construction plan was given a fast‑track mandate, requiring immediate identification of suitable land in every block.

The DM also ordered that all pending land‑record updates, tax collections, and registration processes be completed within the stipulated period, and called for rapid progress on Panchayat Bhavan and girls’ marriage hall projects. New buildings must now incorporate rain‑water harvesting infrastructure.

In addition, the DM emphasized the necessity of installing solar street lights across all villages without delay, and instructed officials to expedite the issuance of certificates under Project Sw so that eligible families can avail the Prime Minister’s free solar electricity scheme. The meeting was attended by senior officials, including the Additional Development Commissioner, Civil Surgeons, District Land‑Acquisition Officer, and heads of transport, education, and grievance redressal departments.
