Sharad Pawar’s Health Improves After Recent Hospital Stays

Sharad Pawar, the senior NCP (SP) figure, was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital on November 7 after receiving care for a chest infection and bronchitis. Doctors reported that his condition is stable and that he will continue his treatment at his Silver Oak residence in Mumbai, focusing on medication and rest. Dr. Prateet Samdani noted that Pawar is following all medical advice diligently and that age‑related precautions have been emphasized. This discharge comes after an earlier release from the Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune, where his health was also described as stable. The incident drew visits from Maharashtra leaders such as Ramdas Athawale and a phone call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who encouraged Pawar to rest. This marks Pawar’s third hospitalization this year, with previous admissions in February for similar respiratory concerns.
