Central Home Minister Amit Shah’s two-day Gujarat itinerary centers on infrastructure upgrades and internal party coordination. Thursday’s schedule opened with the inauguration of a CSR-funded lake in Vadser followed by two libraries in Jalund and Sardhav supported by Toyota Kirloskar. Shah performed bhoomi pujan for lake beautification in Khatraj and opened the new gram panchayat building there. He then commissioned a primary school in Moti Bhoyan and performed multiple groundwork and inauguration events across Sonipur, Kalol, and North Gandhinagar. During his Sonipur stop, Shah joined lunch at the residence of former sarpanch Gandaji Thakor. In the afternoon, he presided over a senior BJP leadership meeting at Shri Kamlam headquarters. Moving to Ahmedabad, the minister inaugurated the CBSE regional office in Chandkheda, a new hostel at Umiya Dham, and the municipal corporation’s Bharat Mata statue in New Wadaj. The evening featured a high-level review on logistics for forthcoming international sporting events. Shah is likely to proceed to Kutch overnight, with additional engagements planned across Friday.
