Senior Leaders Join Door‑to‑Door Drive for Bankipur Seat

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary chaired a review meeting at the BJP state office on Monday evening, scrutinising the party’s preparation for the Bankipur by‑poll and the upcoming legislative session. He urged all BJP legislators to allocate at least two hours each day for campaigning in the constituency, emphasizing the election’s importance for the NDA.

Following the chief minister’s directive, senior leaders including Minister Dr. Shailendra, Minister Ramkripal Yadav, MLC Arvind Sharma, MLA Maithili Thakur, and party workers such as Jivesh Mishra and Manoj Sharma have begun a sustained door‑to‑door push. Additional meetings have been held by party president Sanjay Sarawgi and senior functionary Mahachandra Singh in various pockets of the seat.

The BJP asserts that its strengthened organisational framework, backed by continuous field presence up to the final stage of the campaign, will enable it to retain its advantage in Bankipur. The party has announced Neeraj Sinha as its candidate, and 30,000 voters are set to cast their ballots.
