Security and Transit Plans Finalized for Noida Chhath Celebrations

Securing a disturbance-free environment for the upcoming Chhath Puja has become a top operational priority for the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate. With expectations of record attendance at the Yamuna River ghats, administrative and policing officials are finalizing execution plans.

Wednesday’s site assessment at the Sector-126 Yamuna Ghat was spearheaded by Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh’s directive. The inspection was carried out under the supervision of DCP Noida Preeti Yadav, supported by ADDCP Abhay Kumar Mishra and ACP-1 Praveen Kumar.

The command team meticulously reviewed on-ground safety infrastructure, crowd dispersion tactics, and vehicular routing. Strategies were formulated to mitigate congestion and guarantee that religious observances proceed without hindrance for all participants.

Officers were explicitly instructed to prioritize attendee safety above all else during the Astachalagami and sunrise rituals. Optimized transportation networks and dedicated pathways will be activated to ensure seamless circulation around the ghat premises.

A strict roster system has been established, requiring all policing staff to remain vigilant and stationed at predetermined checkpoints. The force is being trained to respond instantly to any irregularities, ensuring zero tolerance for panic or disorganization.

Administration officials reiterated that all precautionary steps, including medical aid and emergency evacuation routes, will be in place ahead of time. The police department has vowed to uphold strict discipline and deliver a secure, hassle-free festival atmosphere for everyone involved.
