Security Tightened Across NCR After Protest Escalates

In response to the growing demonstrations, security forces have increased deployment in the National Capital Region, including border districts.

Indian Railways cancelled several trains bound for New Delhi and altered timetables, while the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) shut entry and exit gates at 45 stations near Jantar Mantar to control crowd movement.

The heightened measures reflect concerns over potential unrest and aim to ensure public safety while the protests continue.
