Security Forces Confiscate Explosives and Cash After Maoist Surrender Leads

Explosive material seized comprised a 122 mm aerial bomb, six Tiffin bombs, four pipe bombs, homemade grenades and mortar shells. The teams also recovered twenty detonators, a bundle of cordex wire, fourteen pressure cookers and a steel container filled with gelatin. Alongside the armaments, officers found uniform fabric, medicines, prescription slips and everyday items that insurgents are known to use for sustenance and camouflage in the forest.

Authorities said the operation underscores the effectiveness of the state's surrender and rehabilitation policy, which has encouraged former Maoists to lay down arms and re‑integrate into mainstream society.
