Schools shut, highways closed amid rising waters in Dindori and Panna

In Chhatarpur, the Mandakini River has risen to the point of reaching the local market, prompting the closure of the Godavari Caves to tourists. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department warns that the monsoon will persist across Madhya Pradesh until at least August 25, with the eastern region expected to face the heaviest showers.
