SBSP Chief Slams Akhilesh Yadav's AI Video Politics

Lucknow, October 25: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) national president and Uttar Pradesh minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has criticised Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav for relying on AI-generated videos. Making a satirical remark, Rajbhar said that if Akhilesh has such a strong interest in artificial intelligence, he should consider renaming the Samajwadi Party as 'AI-wadi'.

Rajbhar accused the SP chief of choosing videos and social media over direct contact with people on the ground. He said Akhilesh Yadav's approach reflects a preference for virtual outreach over field politics.

Writing on social media, Rajbhar addressed Akhilesh Yadav and said it seemed the opposition leader was using AI to make up for his disappointment at not being able to hold the Saifai festival. He added that the party established by Mulayam Singh Yadav, the former chief minister, on socialist ideals had been reduced to an AI-based 'nautanki' under Akhilesh's leadership.

The minister said that people who truly believe in socialism would be disheartened to see Mulayam Singh Yadav's son making AI videos from an air-conditioned room. He also criticised Akhilesh for making videos with English songs. Rajbhar maintained that politics is built by going among villages, the poor and farmers, and by working hard, not by creating dance videos and AI reels on a phone screen.

He alleged that during the decade Akhilesh Yadav has spent outside power, he had plenty of chances to visit villages across Uttar Pradesh and interact with citizens. Rajbhar said Akhilesh could have visited a different village every day but did not use those opportunities, preferring air-conditioned rooms and social media. He further claimed that AI videos are now being used to keep supporters engaged instead of meeting the public.

The SBSP chief asserted that non-Yadav backward classes and Bahujan communities in Uttar Pradesh will not be swayed by Akhilesh Yadav's promises. He said the most backward and Bahujan sections need a leader who works in the fields and countryside, not one who spends time making online videos.

In his post, Rajbhar also made reference to the 2027 assembly elections while further satirising Akhilesh Yadav's AI video-based politics.
