Sarawagi dismisses Congress criticism, defends Ram temple investigation

When asked about the ongoing controversy surrounding the Ram Temple site, Sarawagi said the monument is a deep‑rooted symbol for millions of Hindus worldwide. He noted that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has set up a special investigation team (SIT) that has already made several arrests and recovered material. The SIT has been granted a 15‑day extension for further interrogations, and Sarawagi warned that anyone found guilty will face the full force of the law.
