Samajwadi Party Responds to ‘Chavanni’ Row, Demands More Seats for RLD

Samajwadi Party spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand reacted to the controversy by echoing Akhilesh Yadav’s call for a larger share of seats for the RLD. He suggested that the RLD should receive 120 seats, four times the current allocation, to reflect its role in the coalition. Chand also argued that parties previously allied with the Samajwadi Party deserve a quadruple increase in seats, enabling them to contest with greater strength. He linked this demand to the broader need for the BJP to expand its seat count as well.
