RP Singh Links Pakistan's Water Remarks to Historical Aggression

New Delhi, August 14 – In a press briefing, BJP spokesperson RP Singh connected Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent comments on the water dispute to a pattern of historical aggression. Singh urged Pakistan to recall the damage inflicted during Operation Sindoor, when Indian forces targeted Pakistani installations, destroyed airstrips and caused extensive material loss.

He warned that any repeat of such "tricks" would bring grave outcomes, even suggesting that Pakistan’s name could be removed from world maps if it persists.

Singh also endorsed BJP president Nitin Niravane’s view that the 1947 partition could have been avoided, blaming hurried political decisions for the division. He echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks on the Partition Memorial Day, highlighting the massive casualties in Punjab and West Bengal and calling the tragedy a forgotten scar of independence.

On the political front, Singh launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who allegedly described India as a "Union of States." Singh argued that this perspective reduces India to a mere collection of regions, ignoring its thousands‑year‑old cultural heritage, a stance also championed by the RSS. He also dismissed Congress MP Priyank Khadage’s call for the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign to start from the RSS headquarters, labeling Khadage’s statements as historically uninformed.
