However, she stressed the importance of keeping literacy in Devanagari alive, as a robust digital presence depends on a link to the language’s literary heritage. According to Mishra, there is no laboratory that can declare a word "pure" or "impure"; clarity, expressive power and contextual relevance are the true measures of usefulness.
