RJD, Congress Leaders Praise Jan Suraj Win, Call for Change in Bihar

RJD and Congress leaders converged on a common narrative after Prashant Kishor’s win in Bankipur. Mangni Lal Mandal described the result as a clear expression of public discontent with the BJP’s governance style.

Akhilesh Prasad Singh of the Congress emphasized that the people of Patna and surrounding areas have voted for a fresh direction, rejecting the BJP’s repeated promises. Ajay Rai, heading the Congress in Uttar Pradesh, echoed this sentiment, stating that the BJP’s national leadership failed to protect even their own strongholds.

The opposition framed the by‑poll as a decisive moment for Bihar’s political landscape, urging the ruling party to address governance failures before the next general election.
