Rituals, Chants and Bells Fill Mahakaleshwar Temple on Shravana Dwadashi

The Mahakaleshwar temple reverberated with bells, conch blasts and continuous mantra chanting as the ash aarti progressed. After the deity’s water ablution, the priest rang the principal bell and presented Hariom water, symbolising purification. The sequence continued with a traditional kapoor aarti, crowning of the deity, and an exuberant display of drums, nagadas and conches, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere throughout the premises.
