Rewari AIIMS Receives Central Nod for 50 MBBS Seats, Minister Details in Assembly

In a response to an assembly query, Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao confirmed that the AIIMS campus at Majra, Rewari, will admit fifty MBBS candidates this year. She noted that the institution, part of the PMSSY initiative, will function as a full‑scale medical college and will be designated a national‑level institute. Rao also reminded legislators that Haryana currently benefits from two AIIMS‑associated facilities: the National Cancer Institute in Badhra, Jhajjar, and AIIMS Rewari, both pivotal for tertiary care and cancer research.
