Retired bank officer, son and daughter‑in‑law die in Jharkhand road accident

A retired Indian State Bank employee from Hazaribagh district was on a return trip from Ranchi with his wife when a container entered his lane in the Chutupalu valley. The vehicle, carrying the senior citizen, his 32‑year‑old son and his son’s wife, was struck and collapsed. All three were pronounced dead at Ramgarh Sadar Hospital. The driver and the wife, both 60, were hospitalized with severe injuries. Police arrived promptly, secured the scene and began a probe into the circumstances that allowed the container onto the highway.
