Reservation seats for PDA community allegedly hijacked, says SP chief

Akhilesh Yadav accused the Uttar Pradesh BJP administration of manipulating the reservation quota allocated to the PDA community. He claimed that out of the 11,514 seats earmarked for PDA candidates in government jobs, a large portion has been illegally diverted.

The SP chief alleged that the state has shut down thousands of primary schools, effectively denying PDA children access to education. He also accused the government of conspiring to keep PDA youth out of competitive examinations by leaking question papers and sabotaging the admission process at institutions such as Jauhar Ali University.

Yadav warned that these tactics threaten the constitutional guarantee of equal opportunity and could deepen social inequities. He called on the Election Commission and the judiciary to investigate the alleged fraud and restore the integrity of the reservation system.

In his statement, Yadav promised that a Samajwadi Party government would safeguard the rights of the PDA community, ensure transparent recruitment, and revive the education infrastructure that has been neglected under the current regime.
