Rescue Teams Retrieve Survivors After Tile Roof House Falls in Karnataka

MANGLUR, KARNATAKA – A residential building with a tiled roof collapsed in the early morning of July 1, trapping several occupants inside. The collapse occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. as heavy rain battered the area.

First‑responders, aided by local volunteers, broke through the rubble and extracted a man and two girls who were then transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The search continued for those still missing.

A woman and two girls were found dead at the scene. Three other residents sustained injuries and were also taken for medical attention. The rescue operation lasted several hours and concluded once all bodies were recovered and the remaining survivors cleared.
