Rescue Operations Prompted by Slab Fall at Boski The Empire Site in Gandhinagar

Emergency responders rallied to a construction site in the Kudasn sector of Gandhinagar after a concrete slab collapsed on Wednesday night.

Police, fire brigade units and disaster management teams converged on the "Boski The Empire" project shortly after the 9:15 p.m. incident. Their coordinated effort resulted in the safe evacuation of about fifteen workers, two of whom required transfer to a private hospital.

Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi visited the site and later inspected the Gandhinagar Civil Hospital, where the injured are being treated. Health Minister Prabhull Pansheria also arrived to assess the medical situation.

Local MLA Rita Patel reported that the site usually employs twenty to twenty‑two labourers daily, and that thirteen workers were rescued and taken to the hospital with non‑critical conditions.

Authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation to identify any lapses in safety protocols. Findings will guide further legal and regulatory measures.
