Renewable Energy Day Messages Emphasize Sustainability Across States

Political leaders from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and the national BJP voiced their support for a low‑carbon future on National Renewable Energy Day.

Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma posted on X, urging the nation to adopt clean, safe, and sustainable power sources. The state’s portal added that Rajasthan’s renewable portfolio exceeds 50 GW, making it the nation’s runner‑up in capacity.

Uttar Pradesh’s BJP head and Deputy Chief Minister echoed the call, stressing solar and other renewables as the engine of India’s green transformation. Bihar’s BJP and a state minister also shared pledges to keep the environment pollution‑free and to increase the share of renewable fuels.
