Religious Leaders Praise Doodheshwar Vedic Academy’s Role in Hindu Culture

Ghaziabad’s Doodheshwar Vedic Academy celebrated its 25th year on July 18, drawing praise from senior Hindu religious leaders. The festivities, organized at the revered Doodheshwar Nath Temple, showcased the academy’s influence on Sanatan Dharma and Indian heritage.

Key participants included Mahamandaleshwars, saints, and scholars who convened to discuss the preservation of Vedic teachings. The ceremony featured recitations from all four Vedas, traditional rites, and enlightening discourses by spiritual guides.

Mahant Narayan Girhi, the temple’s senior monk, affirmed that the academy has been instrumental in disseminating Vedic knowledge and Sanatan values for a quarter of a century, with its alumni now representing Indian culture abroad.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam stressed the need for innovative approaches to bring Vedic education to younger generations, urging collective action to strengthen India’s spiritual and cultural fabric.

Addressing recent judicial rulings concerning a university linked to the academy, Acharya Krishnam warned that all learning institutions must operate within the legal framework, even as they expand.

Alok Kumar, head of the World Hindu Council, highlighted the temple complex as a vibrant center of faith, learning, and cultural preservation, noting its self‑run Shiva lingam, cow shelter, and the Vedic academy.

The event was attended by a large number of devotees, saints, and dignitaries, reflecting broad recognition of the academy’s contributions to Hindu education.
