Relief totals include 1.02 million kg pulses, 400,000 kg salt and 163,500 litres mustard oil

Detailed figures released by the Assam government show that, in addition to the 4,855,864 kilograms of rice, relief teams have distributed 1,015,785 kilograms of lentils and other pulses, 400,794 kilograms of salt and 163,549 litres of mustard oil. These commodities are considered essential for cooking and nutrition in flood‑affected regions. The CM stressed that the continued supply of these items reflects the state's commitment to meeting the basic needs of its citizens during the disaster.
