Relief Package Declared for Families of Vaishali Boat Accident Victims

Following the deadly boat accident in Vaishali, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary directed district officials to speed up relief and rescue operations. He also ordered that medical facilities be upgraded for the injured.

The state government has earmarked four lakh rupees per family of the deceased as compensation. Simultaneously, the Prime Minister’s office confirmed that the PMNRF will disburse two lakh rupees to each next‑of‑kin and a modest cash grant of fifty to fifty‑five thousand rupees for those who survived with injuries.
