Punjab, Assam, West Bengal and Haryana leaders send Janmashtami greetings

Chief Ministers of four northern and eastern states marked the occasion with distinct messages. Punjab's Bhagwant Mann wished the nation a blessed Janmashtami, invoking Lord Krishna's grace and prosperity for every home. Assam's Himanta Biswa Sarma reflected on the sweet butter of childhood and the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, praying for happiness and renewed energy for all. West Bengal’s Suvendu Adhikari highlighted Krishna’s role in eradicating adharma and establishing dharma, seeking peace and affluence for every family. Haryana’s Nayab Singh Saini shared a video, recalling Krishna’s early life in Vrindavan and Mathura, and emphasized the relevance of the Gita’s timeless guidance for truth and justice.
