Record Confiscations of Cannabis, Heroin, and Opium Reported in Motihari

Motihari’s law‑enforcement agencies have announced record‑breaking confiscations of several high‑risk narcotics. The latest figures show a total valuation of 52.66 crore rupees for all drugs seized between September 2021 and August 2023.

Specific quantities include 8,967.024 kg of cannabis, 117.7094 kg of charas, 52.516 kg of opium, 22.379 kg of smack, and 2.6835 kg of brown sugar. In addition, officers interdicted 760 grams of hashish and 400.3 grams of heroin. These results reflect an intensified focus on breaking the supply chain and prosecuting traffickers.
