Rapid Intel Leads to Capture of Three Large IEDs Near Assam Border

Within 24 hours of the Churachandpur operation, Spear Core elements, in coordination with Manipur police, seized three additional improvised explosive devices totalling about twenty kilograms near Jiribam, along the Assam‑Manipur frontier. The cache was recovered from forested terrain between Leishabithol and Ahmadabad.

All devices were destroyed in a controlled demolition, averting a severe threat to lives and property. Defence officials praised the seamless inter‑agency cooperation that made the joint effort possible.
