Ramdev Calls Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Diwali Event a Beacon for Nation

A dazzling Diwali “Deephotav” lit the ancient city of Ayodhya this year, drawing attention from across the subcontinent. Yoga legend Swami Ramdev applauded the occasion, describing it as a powerful beacon that showcases the brilliance of Sanatan culture.

He praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for orchestrating a ceremony that not only celebrates light but also highlights the deep‑rooted customs and flourishing traditions that define India’s civilizational identity.

Ramdev emphasized that the Chief Minister’s policies are actively erasing the vestiges of historical subjugation, replacing them with renewed self‑respect, valor, development, and a fresh paradigm of harmonious coexistence.

According to the guru, Yogi Adityanath embodies the pride of Sanatan Dharma, reinforcing the Nath sect’s heritage and the broader Siddha lineage.

Ramdev did not shy away from criticism, targeting certain self‑styled spiritual leaders, with specific reference to Pandit Dheerendra Shastri, for attempting to segment the unity of the divine. He reaffirmed that Rama, Krishna, Hanuman, and Shiva are indivisible facets of the same cosmic reality.

Speaking on the occasion of former Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Lal Krishna Advani’s birthday, Ramdev identified two key inspirations: disciplined dietary habits and a commitment that transcends the pursuit of power, aimed at uplifting the entire nation.

He lauded Advani’s relentless drive to strengthen the BJP’s organizational framework, from the state level down to individual blocks, marking it as a historic political contribution.

Ramdev called on all political entities to preserve reverence for ancestral deities, urging citizens to draw humility from Lord Rama, strategic insight from Lord Krishna, leadership qualities from Lord Ganesh, and the service ethos of Hanuman and Shiva.

He also praised the Prime Minister for upholding Sanatan principles across major national celebrations—Holi, Diwali, Janmashtami, and Republic Day—while honoring the country’s armed forces during the festival, thereby reinforcing national solidarity.

In Ramdev’s view, the Ayodhya Diwali spectacle sets a precedent for cultural pride, patriotic unity, and progressive development, lighting the way for the nation’s future.
