Ramdev Calls for Unity, Highlights Youth Role in Nation’s Growth

During a special Independence Day ceremony at Patanjali Yogpeeth, Baba Ramdev praised the contributions of India’s younger generation and asked the nation to unite under a common purpose. He said the country belongs to its 145 crore citizens, not to any political faction, and that every Indian shares the duties usually reserved for the Prime Minister or President. The guru applauded the efforts of many Gen‑Z members who are working for social good, even as some are involved in unrest. He stressed the importance of cooperative action between youth and senior citizens to address issues ranging from inadequate school infrastructure to corrupt recruitment processes that demand bribes exceeding one crore rupees. Ramdev warned that continued negligence could intensify public dissent, yet he rejected chaos as a legitimate form of protest. He called on both ruling and opposition parties to extend hands of cooperation, respect each other's elected mandates, and focus on strengthening agriculture, industry, and the broader economy.
