In a fiery exchange amid Bihar’s political heat, state minister Ram Kripal Yadav hit back at Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi’s MGNREGA criticism. Gandhi claimed the Centre’s actions insulted Mahatma Gandhi, but Yadav flipped the narrative: ‘Nation first for us, family first for Congress.’
During a media briefing in Patna, Yadav laid bare Congress’s alleged sins against Gandhi’s ideals—rampant corruption, falsehoods, looting public funds, and eroding national unity. ‘We stand as sentinels of the nation, our rallying cry: nation first. Congress prioritizes dynasty over country,’ he asserted.
Yadav backed PM Modi’s infiltration warnings, pointing fingers at Mamata Banerjee in Bengal for patronizing illegal migrants for votes. ‘PM’s resolve is spot on, and our government stands firm against such threats.’
Addressing Rohini Acharya’s X post slamming Bihar’s law and order, Yadav issued a direct challenge: compare crime data from RJD’s 15-year tenure versus BJP’s 20 years. ‘Crime exploded under them. Under us, it’s suffocation for criminals in jails—zero tolerance in our era of good governance.’
Yadav also raised eyebrows over Congress calling Bihar legislators to Delhi, recalling their defiance of the state chief earlier. ‘High command’s summons suggest big moves ahead—watch this space.’
The exchanges underscore deepening political rifts in Bihar ahead of key elections.
