Ram Janmabhoomi Legacy Cited During Adani Centenary Tribute
New Delhi — On Sunday, the BJP’s central office became the venue for a solemn prayer ceremony honoring the 100th birth anniversary of Lal Krishna Adani. The gathering, presided over by national president Nitin Naveen, featured senior party leaders and workers who lit the havan fire and offered blessings for Adani’s continued vigor.
Jayant Adani, the son of the late leader, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the BJP hierarchy, emphasizing that his sole wish is for his father’s sustained health and divine protection. He shared the stage with his sister Pratibha Adani, both thanking the party’s grassroots volunteers for their dedication.
Addressing the media, Jayant reflected on the Ram Janmabhoomi campaign of the early 1990s, labeling it an “unforgettable chapter” that propelled the BJP from a modest outfit to a dominant political force. “The surge that followed the movement reshaped the electoral landscape and anchored our growth for decades,” he asserted.
He further highlighted the party’s expansion into the largest political organization in India, with a membership base running into millions and governing alliances at the centre and across several states. According to Jayant, the achievements of senior leaders have paved the way for the celebration held on this historic occasion.
