Rajbhar compares Akhilesh Yadav’s ally’s tank stunt to a failed Sholay scene

Lucknow, 17 August – Om Prakash Rajbhar, who heads the Suhbah Samaaj Party nationally and serves as a minister in Uttar Pradesh, took aim at Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and MP Rajiv Rai with a biting satire. Rajbhar accused the MP of converting a minor water‑tank episode into a stage‑like act, claiming it failed to match even the legendary tank moment from *Sholay*.

The minister posted on X, “Dear Akhilesh, I have just learned that your party contains actors bigger than you. That’s delightful.” He followed with, “Your leader’s acting makes the *Sholay* tank scene appear weak.”

Rajbhar detailed that after Rai instructed his aide to climb the tank, the aide used the visual to demand the construction of a road, turning the political demand into a series of social‑media posts. He mocked the MP for waiting for “post‑post‑post” reactions before announcing readiness to fulfill the demand.

He added, “Your own acting is outdone by the MP’s. While you claim to act for PDA, the result is invisible, whereas the MP’s performance was evident.” Rajbhar concluded with a tongue‑in‑cheek hope for a drama school on Vikramaditya Marg and patriotic chants.
