Chaudhary noted that the long-standing legal and cultural battles have culminated in a public consensus that refuses to accept Ram as an ‘imaginary’ character. According to Chaudhary, the ‘Ram Bhakti’ seen across the country is a democratic response to those who questioned the roots of Indian civilization.
