Rahul Gandhi Leads Sit‑in at Lok Kalyan Road, Calls for Resignations

Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by several MPs, sat on the ground at Lok Kalyan Marg and demanded that both the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister step down. The opposition figure argued that the government has failed to apologise to the students who were subjected to baton charges and physical assault. He also highlighted that the Speaker of the Lok Sabha had warned that any discussion of the student issue in Parliament would require prior government permission, a condition Gandhi described as unacceptable for a democratic forum.
