Radhakant Singh Labels Rahul Gandhi a Joke Amid Controversy

Hamirpur, August 14 – In the Lok Sabha, BJP MP Radhakant Singh dismissed Rahul Gandhi as a “laughing stock” following the opposition leader’s crude comment on an overseas female prime minister. Singh argued that Gandhi’s behaviour had turned him into a source of ridicule, questioning the dignity of a politician from a family that has occupied the highest offices in the country.

The BJP member linked the incident to what he described as Congress’s habit of politicising the national anthem and the flag while praising rivals such as Pakistan and China. Singh said no one could anticipate restrained language from Rahul given the party’s historical culture.

He also used the platform to promote the BJP’s view on the FCRA bill, insisting that transparent regulations on foreign donations are crucial for India’s security.

Singh wrapped up his remarks by wishing the nation a happy Independence Day and celebrating the youth march in Hamirpur, which he said sent a powerful message about national pride.
