Divine Couple Radha and Banke Bihari Swing Together on Hariyali Teej

Hariyali Teej in Vrindavan witnessed a unique spectacle as Radha and Banke Bihari shared a golden‑silver swing. The deity, dressed in fresh green attire, was gently rocked while Radha sat beside him, creating a tableau of divine love.

Witnesses reported that the swing’s design allowed both deities to sit comfortably. When Radha appeared fatigued, Banke Bihari assisted by adjusting her ornaments and pressing his foot gently on her feet, a gesture that delighted the assembled crowd.

The temple was adorned with festive decorations, and devotees offered traditional sweets such as ghevar along with a 56‑item bhog. The ritual emphasized the harmonious relationship between the divine pair and highlighted the cultural significance of the green festival.
