Rabri Devi Moves to Family Home, Signals Shift in RJD Power Base

After almost two decades at the state‑provided bungalow on 10 Circular Road, Rabri Devi has relocated to a private residence in Kautilya Nagar, joining former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family. The relocation concludes an era during which the bungalow served as the de‑facto headquarters for the Rashtriya Janata Dal, hosting major strategic sessions for the Mahagathbandhan. Devi had earlier requested a verification of the property’s inventory to avoid future disputes over state assets. With the bungalow now empty, the Bihar government is preparing to reassign the property to a new official, ending its association with the RJD.
