Punjab BJP chief Dhillon targeted in road ambush by AAP activists

In a rare escalation of political rivalry, AAP supporters staged an ambush on the convoy of Punjab BJP chief Kunal Singh Dhillon as he traveled to pay respects to Gulzar Singh’s relatives. The convoy, which also included the party’s national vice‑president and former state president, was blocked on a highway stretch. After a brief stand‑off, the activists launched a physical assault. Dhillon described the event as an assault on the democratic process and warned that the party would not be intimidated.
