Public Confidence Erodes as BJP Fails to Deliver on Development Schemes, Says SP Leader
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav warned on Saturday that the people of Uttar Pradesh are losing faith in the BJP government due to unfulfilled promises and rampant corruption. He asserted that even essential schemes such as the Jal Jeevan Mission are marred by commission‑based mismanagement, leading to broken water tanks and inadequate supplies.
Yadav highlighted that the pattern of broken infrastructure—from collapsing expressway stretches to faulty water projects—demonstrates a deeper systemic issue. He claimed the BJP’s reluctance to accept responsibility or apologize for its shortcomings will only deepen the electorate’s disenchantment.
The leader concluded that the party’s growing arrogance, coupled with its history of shifting narratives and demanding apologies from rivals, represents a critical challenge to its continued rule in the state.
