Accusations of Question Paper Tampering Surface in Kerala PSC Exams, BJP Demands Independent Probe

The Kerala PSC’s latest examination cycle is under fire after Youth Morcha alleged systematic tampering of question papers. The BJP’s youth arm announced a statewide movement on Tuesday, alleging that the answer key for more than fifty questions was deliberately set to option “B” to advance selected candidates.

The allegations extend to the Fisheries Department recruitment, where 30 out of 42 successful applicants were identified as members of the Students Federation of India, suggesting a pattern of favouritism. Youth Morcha leader V. Manu Prasad warned that such practices undermine the merit‑based ethos of public service exams and disenfranchise countless youngsters who invest years in preparation.

Prasad demanded a fully independent inquiry, dismissing the PSC’s internal probe as a superficial exercise meant to protect guilty parties. He called for the resignation of PSC chairpersons and members accused of misconduct, and urged the state government to initiate legal proceedings should they refuse to step aside.
