PRL Hiring: Administrative, Accounts and Store Officers Positions Open

Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in Nivarangpura, Ahmedabad, is inviting applications for five vacancies: one Administrative Officer, two Accounts Officers, and two Purchase & Store Officers. The recruitment drive began on 25 July and will conclude on 24 August. Interested candidates should complete the registration on PRL's official website before the cutoff.

The Administrative Officer eligibility includes an MBA with at least one year of supervisory experience, or a post‑graduate qualification with three years of experience (including a year in supervision), or a graduation with five years of experience (including two years supervisory). Experience in administration is a mandatory criterion.

For Accounts Officer, eligible profiles are ACA/FCA, ICWA/FICWA, or MBA holders with one year of supervisory experience, or commerce post‑gradues with three years of experience (one year supervisory), or commerce graduates with five years of experience (two years supervisory). The experience must be in finance, accounting or cost accounting domains.

Purchase & Store Officer candidates may have an MBA in marketing or material management with one year supervisory experience. Alternatively, a graduate degree paired with a post‑graduate diploma in material management (or any related subject) and three years of experience (including one year supervisory), a post‑graduate degree with three years of experience (one year supervisory), or a graduate degree with five years of experience (two years supervisory) in procurement and store functions are also acceptable.

The age ceiling is set at 35 years, calculated as of the last date of application, with statutory relaxations for reserved categories. The application fee is INR 750 payable online; General/OBC/EWS candidates will be refunded INR 500 after the written examination, while women, SC, ST, PWD and ex‑servicemen will receive a full fee refund. Selection will be based on a written test followed by an interview. The salary for the appointed officers will range between INR 56,100 and INR 1,77,500 per month, along with additional allowances and benefits.
