Prime Minister’s handwritten Vande Mataram to ride Vikram‑1 launch

Among the payloads on Skyroot Aerospace’s upcoming Vikram‑1 orbital test flight is a postcard bearing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s own handwritten "Vande Mataram" note. The message will travel aboard the rocket when it lifts off from the SDSC‑SHAR launch pad at Sriharikota on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Alongside the Prime Minister’s note, the mission carries handwritten greetings from Skyroot employees, investors, policymakers and well‑wishers across the globe. The company describes the collection as a celebration shared by many hands, symbolising broad support for India’s growing private‑space sector and its ambitions in satellite launch services.
