Pradhan Returns to Home State, Holds Talks on NEP Legacy and Moral Stand

After tendering his resignation from the central cabinet on July 25, Dharmendra Pradhan made his first public appearance in Odisha on Tuesday. Welcomed at Biju Patnaik International Airport by party colleagues and state ministers, he was praised for his role in shaping the National Education Policy 2020 and for steering several education reforms across the country. In the subsequent meeting with Chief Minister Mohan Chandra Majhi, Pradhan underscored the ethical considerations that prompted his departure and reiterated his commitment to serving the public. The two leaders also examined ways to translate NEP principles into actionable programmes for schools and colleges throughout Odisha.
