Post-Election Attacks Prompt TMC Fact-Finding Mission in Bengal

Trinamool Congress parliamentarian Dola Sen has alleged that party supporters and common residents are facing systematic violence after the state election results. Speaking exclusively, she revealed that three teams have been formed on Mamata Banerjee’s instructions to investigate complaints of homes being demolished and party offices being forcibly closed. Sen stressed that her team will directly meet victims and gather evidence. She expressed trust in judicial intervention, noting the Calcutta High Court’s order guaranteeing safe return for displaced persons. Reiterating full faith in Mamata Banerjee’s leadership, Sen dismissed questions about internal dissent and said the party chief’s words apply universally. On ongoing legal matters including FIRs against Abhishek Banerjee and the RG Kar tragedy, she insisted that constitutional values and justice will ultimately triumph.
