Political Storm: SP Leader Blames Govt Over Temple Funds and Diwali
Socialist Party MP Sanatan Pandey ignited a political controversy on November 8 by accusing the state government of mishandling the money raised for the Ram Temple. He urged the chief minister to apologise for the purported fraud, step down, and seek a new democratic endorsement.
Pandey also targeted the prime minister’s Diwali celebrations, labeling them as an insult to the nation’s soldiers who have faced increasing casualties on the front lines. He argued that the current leadership has damaged India’s foreign relationships, leaving the country diplomatically isolated.
The MP defended the 1990 shooting incident, describing it as a necessary measure to protect the constitution. He praised the historical figure referred to as “Netaji” for ordering the shots, noting that the high court’s restraining order had been lifted and that the action prevented the demolition of both a mosque and a temple.
In closing, Pandey called for the chief minister’s immediate resignation, an apology to the public – especially those who contributed to the Ram Temple fund – and a fresh electoral mandate to restore confidence in the government.
