Political rivals condemn Pakistan’s edited SCO photo, label it disgraceful

After the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit, Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Office posted a doctored image that excluded Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The alteration sparked outrage across the Indian political spectrum.

Yamin Sharma of the BJP’s National Council condemned the act, saying it was an attempt by Pakistan to hide its “double‑faced terrorism” after Modi’s scathing address at the summit.

Pratul Shah Dev, BJP’s chief spokesperson, warned that the world must stand together against any nation that shelters terrorism, and that Pakistan’s rotation to the SCO chairmanship does not change India’s firm stand.

RJD’s senior parliamentarian Manoj Kumar Jha reminded listeners that India’s zero‑tolerance policy on terror has been reiterated by every prime minister on bilateral and multilateral platforms over the past few decades.

JDU MLA Neeraj Kumar affirmed that the Indian army’s valour and public determination have already forced the global community to acknowledge the menace of Pakistan‑supported terror, regardless of any visual edits.

Socialist Party leader S. T. Hassan labelled Pakistan’s move as “shameful” and asserted that India remains ahead of Pakistan in governance, while Islamabad continues to rely on terror as its only weapon.
