Political parties accused of conspiracy as Sant Samaj defends Champat Rai
The Sant Samaj has leveled serious accusations against opposition parties, claiming they are orchestrating a plot to destabilise the Ram Temple project. In a press briefing, Mahant Sitaram Das called the Samajwadi Party a "namaz‑worshipping" outfit and slammed the Congress for its historically anti‑Ram stance.
According to the Samaj, the coordinated effort to question Champan Rai’s resignation is part of an attempt to create a scandal that could jeopardise the newly constructed temple. The clergy insisted that the trust cannot accept Rai’s resignation hastily, as it would set a precedent for political interference in religious administration.
They urged the public and the government to recognise the manipulation and to safeguard the temple’s operations from any further conspiratorial attacks.
