Political Leaders React to Kalyanpuri Cleaner Killing, Demand Encounter for Suspect

Following the murder of MCD cleaner Anil Kumar, both BJP and AAP legislators voiced strong reactions. BJP MLA Ravikant pledged support to the bereaved family and warned that the accused would face “harsh punishment.” He reiterated his belief that the perpetrator’s identity is already known and that the law will act decisively.

AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar, meanwhile, criticised the growing wave of violence in Delhi, labeling Kalyanpuri as an emerging “crime capital.” He urged the police to conduct an immediate encounter with the suspect, seeking a deterrent example, and demanded compensation for the victim’s family along with guaranteed employment for a relative.
